IOL Master 500 is able to achieve complete evaluation of the eye in the majority of the cases, however, there are about 5-10% of the times when the density or the location of the cataract precludes the ability to measure the axial length. Accutome A-Scanner Synergy is able to link with the IOLMaster 500 and complete data transfer is made between the 2 instruments. This ability to link back and forth, eliminates the possibility of human transcription errors.
